Direct Billing
Relief Recall offers direct billing to most insurance providers.

Top Questions
Yes, we offer direct billing to your insurance provider through Telus Health, Provider Connect, and the Alberta Blue Cross provider portals. If a claim cannot be processed or is declined for any reason, the full treatment cost will be collected at the time of your appointment.
For insurers not listed in our portal, simply pay upfront and submit your receipt for quick reimbursement. We encourage you to check with your provider for details on coverage and claim procedures to ensure a smooth experience.
Please Note
1. Canada Life Insurance: Canada Life requires policyholders to self-submit claims directly using their receipt. Due to these policy requirements, our clinic is unable to submit claims to Canada Life on your behalf.
2. Blue Cross Medavie: Our receipts can be used for self-submission of claims. While national benefits are available, we are currently working on implementing a portal that will allow us to submit claims on your behalf in the future. (Alberta Blue Cross is eligible for direct billing, and we are able to submit claims on your behalf, subject to plan coverage and approval)
3. Reflexology Coverage: Reflexology is not commonly covered by insurance plans. Please confirm coverage details directly with your insurance company.
4. Add-On Services: Add-on services are designed to enhance relaxation during your regular session and are not eligible for insurance claims.
Absolutely. All of our therapists are Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) and members of professional associations, which means your treatment may be eligible for insurance reimbursement.
You will receive an email confirmation with parking instructions. If you are a new client, you will need to fill out a client intake form with your insurance information before your treatment. Please provide your information before your session to allow time to look over it.
When you arrive, we will chat about your history, injuries, any conditions, range of motion, etc. and your goals for the session. There are choices of complimentary aromatherapy and massage oils that you can choose for your session. Then, your therapist will leave the room for a couple of minutes so you can undress to your level of comfort and lie face down under the blanket.
When you're ready, your therapist will enter the room and adjust your position with bolsters, pillows, heat pads, and anything else you need to be comfortable. You will be covered by the blanket at all times except for the body part that needs to be treated.
During the massage, your therapist will check in with you for feedback about the pressure, but please feel free to speak up about pressure, heat pad temperature and any adjustments you prefer. After the session, we will chat about home care (stretches, etc) and complete payment.
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Missed appointments or late cancellations may be subject to a fee.
If proper notice is not given, we will require a payment of 50% of the service. However, if you are feeling sick, please reschedule your appointment to prevent from passing it on. No fee will be charged due to cancellation because of sickness.
